Action Alert
Urge Your Senators to Pass Bill that Would Protect Preborn Babies Parents who receive adverse genetic diagnoses would receive help.
The Prenatally and Postnatally Diagnosed Conditions Awareness Act (S. 1810) passed favorably out of the U.S. Senate HELP Committee. The bill mandates that health care providers give the mother of a preborn or newly born child up-to-date information concerning the life expectancy and treatment options for a preborn child diagnosed with Down syndrome or other conditions.
Please contact your two senators and encourage them to move this bipartisan bill to final passage in the Senate.
